CHERAW — Myrtle Furr Johnson, 73, died Monday, April 27, 1998 at Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst, NC. Born in Cheraw, SC she was a daughter of the late Eddie Carl and Lula Howard Furr. She was the widow of Olin Leslie Johnson, Sr. Mrs. Johnson was a member of First Baptist Church and was a retired seamstress. Survivors are: Olin Leslie Johnson, Jr. (son) of Cheraw, SC; Edd C. Johnson (son) of Cheraw, SC; Linda Johnson White (daughter) of Cheraw, SC; Willie Mae F. Kelly (sister) of Cheraw, SC; Ethel F. Rainwater (sister) of Laurinburg, NC; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at 2 PM Tuesday, April 28, 1998 at Kiser Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM following the visitation in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens, Cheraw, SC.
