Death
Services were held for Mrs. Charles V. Bailey, 82, the former Anna Nora Furr, at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Earnheart Chapel in Whitewright. She died Sunday night in a Sherman hospital. Rev. Bill Gresham will officiate with burial in Cottage Hill Cemetery in Weston. Mrs. Bailey was married January 24, 1927 in Oklahoma. Her husband preceeded (sic) her in death in July, 1964. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors are two sons, Charles Bailey of Whitewright and Leonard Bailey of Ravenna; three grandchildren. Pallbearers were Kenneth Jester, Elbert Bennett, Audrey Cain, Lloyd Venable, Eldon Donaldson and J. W. Langford.The Whitewright Sun, Whitewright, Texas, November 25, 1970
