Mrs. Jean Furr Vallandingham, 68, of White Sulphur Springs, WV, formerly of Charlotte, NC, departed this earth on July 24, 1996. Burial was held on July 26, 1996, in White Sulphur Springs, WV. Survivors include her children, USMC Lt. Col. Charles E. Jr., Daniel, Timothy Vallandingham, Karen and Lisa Vallandingham and Debbie Rivoires, all of West Virginia and Virginia area; sisters, Faye Furr Williams of Indian Trail, NC, Charlotte Furr Darby of Brunswick, GA, and Nancy Furr Wilson of Mint Hill, NC; brothers, Herman L. Furr of Charlotte, NC, and Jimmy J. Furr of Mt. Holly, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Vallandingham, parents, Lemeul R. and Isabelle Johnson Furr, brothers, L.R. Furr Jr., Bob V. Furr, and sister, Margaret Furr Smith of Charlotte, NC.
