Death
Richmond, Jan. 1. — Pearle Edgar Furr, formerly of Raleigh, N. C., died today at his home here. He was a native of Albemarle, N. C., and moved to Raleigh when a young man. For some years thereafter he ran as conductor on the Seaboard Air Line Railway between Raleigh and Hamlet. Later he ran on the Norfolk Southern between Raleigh and Washington N. C. He gave up railroad work several years ago, moving to Richmond with his family. Besides his widow, who was Miss Pattie Kimball, of Raleigh, he is survived by his children. His body was forwarded to Raleigh tonight for burial there tomorrow.The Virginian-Pilot, Norfolk, Virginia, January 2, 1927
