Death
Funeral services for Mrs. Leonard W. Furr, 56, of 1545 Thomas Ave., will be held at 3 p. m. tomorrow at Church of Jesus Christ. The Rev. R. L. Hancock, the pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Sharon Memorial Park. Mrs. Furr died yesterday in a local hospital. She was born July 31, 1910, in Cabarrus County, daughter of the late Brittian and Mollie Simpson Helms. Surviving are her husband, Leonard W. Furr; two daughters, Miss Ruby Furr and Mrs. Evelyn Ralston of the home; three sons, C. V. Furr of the U.S. Navy, Charleston, S. C., T. R. Furr of Matthews and T. L. Furr of Charlotte; a brother, Richard, Helms of Charlotte; two half-brothers, Ken Helms of Waxhaw and Tom Helms of Pageland, S.
