Death
CHESTER, Feb. 13 — Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Furr Flynn, 51, who was killed in an automobile accident yesterday, will be conducted at the home Thursday at 4 pm. by the Rev. Charles Griffin. Burial will be in| Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Flynn was born in Charlotte, N.C., daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Britton Helms. She was twice married, first to Sam B. Furr, who died in 1944. Later she married L. C. Flynn who survives. Surviving also are two sons, Baxter Furr of Chester and Sam Furr of Pasadena, Calif,; six stepsons, Mark Flynn and George Flynn, both of Great Falls, Henry Flynn of Pine Bluff, Ark., Eugene Flynn and Paul Flynn, both of Fairview, N.C., and Nathan Flynn of Chester; four stepdaughters, Mrs. C, D. Freeman of Chester, Mrs. L. C. Johnson of Clinton, Mrs. E. R. Pittillo and Mrs. Lowrence Huntsinger, both of Biltmore, N.C.; three brothers, Ken Helms of Waxhaw, N.C, Tom Helms of Monroe, N.C., and Dick Helms of Charlotte; one sister, Mrs. Ode Medlin of Monroe, N.C.; and 44 grandchildren.The Greenville News, Greenville, South Carolina, February 14, 1957
