Death
Mr. Cleamon Furr, 45, of Pensacola, FL, formerly of Charlotte, died Tuesday, February 10, 1981, at his residence. Mr. Furr was born May 1, 1935, son of the late Leonard W. and Polly Helms Furr. He retired from the U.S. Navy. Funeral services will be held 10:15 AM Friday, February 13, 1981, in Pensacola, FL. Burial will be at the Barrancas National Cemetery with full military rites. He is survived by his wife, the former Nancy Combs; two sons, Cleamon V. Furr, Jr. and Joey Furr, both of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Betsy Cribb of Whiteville, NC and Angie Furr of the home; two brothers, Tommy Furr of Wake Forest and Ted Furr of Charlotte; two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Bridgers of Charlotte and Mrs. Evelyn Ralston of Germany. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 until 9 at the Oak Lawn Funeral Home in Pensacola, FL.The Charlotte Observer, Charlotte, North Carolina, February 12, 1981
