Death

Betsy Furr Zambrano, 59, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017. She was born Feb. 27, 1958 in Newport, RI to Nancy Combs and Cleamon Virgil Furr. She graduated from Pine Forest High School and Tampa College. Betsy enjoyed her career in healthcare, specializing in sleep disorders and working with various home health organizations and assisted living facilities. She loved the beach, sporting events, traveling, and being with her dear friends. Betsy was devoted to her family and especially her son, Rafael, who she was very proud of. Her independence, humor, selflessness, and unwavering strength made a lasting impression on all who had the privilege to know her. She is preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her son, Rafael Zambrano III; mother, Nancy Register; brothers, Clem & Chris Furr; sister, Angie Schlobohm; niece, Brook Jones & nephews, Rick Schlobohm & David Furr. Memorial Service will be held 2:30pm Sunday, October 29, 2017 at First United Methodist Church, 6 E. Wright St., Pensacola, FL 32501.
