Death
Mrs. John B. Furr, 70, died Friday at 2 p. m. in Cloverdale Church Home after an illness of one month. She was a former resident of Stanley County and had lived here two years. Survivors include three sons, lloyd Furr of Charlotte, Ed Furr of Chapel Hill and Harold Furr of Albemarle; two daughters, Mrs. Floyd Cranford of Thomasville and Mrs. Jim Kennedy of Oakboro. Funeral will be held at Philadelphia. Baptist Church near Albemarle Sunday at: 2:30 p. m. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will be at the Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle from 7 until 9 tonight.The High Point Enterprise, High Point, North Carolina, November 8, 1969
