Death

Reverend Kenneth Kinion will officiate at funeral services Wednesday at 11 AM in Bradley Funeral Home chapel for Mrs. E. E. (Janie) Gilliland, 77, of 916 Calllahan, a resident of Muskogee for 56 years, who died Sunday in Muskogee General Hospital. Palllbearers will be Richard Bass, Andy Reeves, Ralph Gray Sr., Joe Potts, Harvey Neisler and Roy Jelks. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Born March 8, 1889 at Atkins, Arkansas, Mrs. Gilliland was a member of the Church of God, American Legion Auxilliary 15 and of the World War I Auxilliary. Her husband, E. E. Gilliland, died December 12, 1962. Mrs. Gilliland is survived by four sons, Elton Gilliland of Broken Arrow, J. B. Ray of Adair and Joe Ray and Jim Ray, both of Muskogee; four daughters, Mrs. W. O. Morgan of 1705 East Brroadway, Mrs. Blake Salyer of 901 Kershaw Drive and Mrs. Lenora Emmons of 508 North K, all of Muskogee, and Mrs. Mae McMullens of Rangely, Colorado; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Clara HAmilton of San Jose, California and three brothers, Walter Furr of Lucerne, California, Ike Furr of Modesto, California and Frank Furr of Oakland, California.
