Death
The funeral of Mrs. Leana Burk, 68, of 1338 N. Rockford av., will be held at 10 a: m. Saturday in the Tulsa Funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Rose Hill burial park. Mrs. Burk died Wednesday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Betty Sterling, Muskogee, after an 18- month illness. A native of Russellville, Ark., she had resided in Tulsa 21 years. Also surviving are her husband, Rube Burk; four other daughters. Mrs. Mary Spencer, 4911 N. Madison av.; Mrs. Ruby Brough, of the home; Mrs. Omi Dexter, 4905 N. Madison av., and Mrs. Laura Fain, Seattle, Wash.; a son, Dave Simpson, Delano, Cal.; two sisters, three brothers, 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.The Tulsa Tribune, Tulsa, Oklahoma, December 8, 1949
