Death
Mrs. Larcena Burris, 54, died this morning at the home of her father, three miles southeast of Muskogee, after a long illness. Mrs. Burris formerly lived at Coweta. She is survived by her husband and eight children, her father, Jim Furr, living three miles east of Muskogee, and two sisters, Mrs. Janey Gillian, of Muskogee and Leona Burk, of Tulsa. Federal services will be conducted qt 11 o'clock Sunday morning at Coweta, with the Rev. Alice Huddleston, officiating. Burial will be in the Coweta cemetery under the direction of Lescher funeral home.Muskogee Times-Democrat, Muskogee, Oklahoma, August 2, 1930
