Funeral services for Mrs. Pauline Virginia Furr Helms, 76, of 382 Kerr Street, Concord, who had relatives in this area, were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Ann Street United Methodist Church, where she was a member. Rev. Gary L. Farrell officiated and internment was in Oakwood Cemetery. Mrs. Helms died Tuesday in Cabarrus Memorial Hospital. Born March 6, 1910, in Cabarrus County, she was a daughter of the late Paul McDonald and Ethel Bost Furr and was a homemaker. Her husband, C. Fred Helms, preceded her in death. Her survivors include a son, Robert F. Helms of Seven Lakes; three brothers, J. W. Furr, Paul Furr and Ray Furr, all of Concord; four sisters, Mrs. Anabel Carpenter, Mrs. Mabel Falk, Mrs. Daisy Conner and Mrs. Ruby Barnhardt, all of Concord; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
