Death
Mrs. Sarah Ann Victoria Rader, 84 years old, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Emmett Knapp, Friday night at 10:15 o'clock of heart disease after an illness of five months. Mrs. Rader was born at Wolf Creek, Aug. 27, 1860, the daughter of the late Robert Skaggs, and Sally Hinton Skaggs. Her husband, the late Samuel B. Rader, died four years ago. She was a member of the Smoot Baptist church. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the Greenbrier Baptist church with the Rev. Randolph Johnson and Rev. Dupuy Holliday officiated. Burial followed in the Lewis cemetery at Blaker Mille. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Emmett Knapp and Mrs. Edith Canterberry, of Alderson, and three step-daughters, Mrs. Daisy Buster, of Blue Sulphur Springs, and Mrs. James R. Feamster and Mrs. Ashby Feamster, of Blaker Mills.The Independent-Herald Hinton, West Virginia, February 7, 1945
