Death
Mrs. Edith P. Canterbury, 91, formerly of Alderson, died December 21, 1990, at a Baltimore hospital. Born at Alderson, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Victoria Rader. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey P. Canterbury; a daughter Victoria Jackson and a son, Dewey Paul Canterbury. Survivors include three daughters, Gladys C. Mann of Princeton, Phyllis R. Critzer of Baltimore and Pearl G. Furr of Pontotoc, Mississippi; 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Services were at Bruydzinski Funeral Home in Baltimore with Reverends Willie Harris and Carl Edwards officiating. Burial was in Meadow Ridge Cemetery in Baltimore.
