Death
Mrs. Dora Ann Furr Huneycutt, 77, died Tuesday. She was a former resident of Stanly County. She was born in Stanley County February 11, 1884 and was the daughter of the late William Monroe Furr and Vinna Osborne Furr. She made her home at the home of her son, J. F. Huneycutt, 23 Carr Street. Surviving are two sons, J. F., Rocky Mount and Rayvon, Plainview, N. Y.; five grandchildren; three brothers, Silas Furr, Concord, J. C. Furr, High Point, and Paul P. Furr, Columbus, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Rettie London, Albermarle, and Mrs. Cora Almond, Mt. Pleasant. Funeral services will be held be held at 2 pm. Thursday at the Stanly Funeral Home in Albemarle. The Rev. U. A. McManus, pastor of the North Rocky Mount Baptist Church, will officiate.
