THOMASVILLE — William (Bill) Gaines Furr, 71, of 214 Long St. died Thursday at Community General Hospital. Funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Sechrest Funeral Home. Burial will be in Holly Hill Memorial Park. He was a native of Davidson County, a retired employee of Thomasville Furniture Industries, a World War II Air Force veteran and a member of West End United Methodist Church. Surviving are wife, Mrs. Vida McCrary Furr; sister, Miss Elizabeth Furr of Thomasville. Memorials may be made to the church.News and Record, Greensboro, North Carolina, April 14, 1984
