Death
THOMASVILLE — Mrs. Mary Beck Furr, 79, of Thomasville, Rt. 2, wife of Dock Furr, died yesterday at City Memorial Hospital. The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Mount Zion Wesleyan Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. She was born in Davidson County to Lindsay and Dicie Templeton Beck. She was a member of Mount Zion Wesleyan Church. Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Miss Elizabeth Furr of the home; and a son, William G. Furr of Thomasville. The body is at Siler Funeral Home.Winston-Salem Journal, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, April 6, 1969
