Death
PECOS (STNS) — Services for Mrs. Frances Matilda Furr, 77, of Midland were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Fairview Cemetery directed by Pecos Funeral Home. Mrs. Furr died about 2:45 p.m. Saturday in Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. She was born Oct. 2, 1882 in Waxahachie and had lived in Midland the past several years. She came to Toyah in 1912 from Graham and was a pioneer in Reeves County. Her husband, J. L. Furr operated a merchantile store several years in Toyah. He died in 1950.
