Death
Funeral services were held last Saturday for Delmon Ross Furr, 98, who passed away at his Lake Canyon road residence on Nov. 16. Place Funeral Home rites were under the auspices of Ridgely Lodge No. 294, IOOF of Los Gatos. He was a member of Williams Lodge No. 15, IOOF, of Williams, Ariz., and also a member of Rebekah Lodge No. 10 of the same city. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Jennie M. Furr, and a son, Melvin Furr, of Tulsa, Okla. Pallbearers were Harry Orr, William Proctor, Orey Leupkey, George Cooksey, Paul Vonfelt, and Chester Smith. Interment was in Santa Clara City Cemetery.Los Gatos Times-Saratoga Observer, Los Gatos, California, November 28, 1947
