Death
A double funeral for Harry R. Andrews and Roy Furr, victims of an accident at the Mormon Flat dam Thursday night, will be held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock at the M. L. Gbbons undertaking chapel. Both bodies will be interred in the Mesa cemetery, the Masonic lodge conducting its ritualistic work at the grave of Mr. Furr. Mr. Furr was a second cousin of C. P. Furr, resident of Mesa for a number of years. He is survived by his aged parents, his widow and two children.Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona, August 2, 1924
Loralee Quintero states, "From what my grandfather told us, he fell while they were pouring the Mormon Flat Dam spillway, basically buried in the concrete."
