Death
Concord, Feb. 5 — James Madison Furr, 69, of the Cold Springs section of this county, died at his home tonight. Funeral services will be held at Cold Springs church tomorrow at 3:30. Mr. Furr was a native of this county and member of a widely known family. He is survived by six children, Lewis, George, and Miss Myrtle Furr, of the home; James Furr, of Concord; Mrs. M. C. Bost and Mrs. Luther Allman, of this county; one brother, Lewis Furr, of this county; and two stepdaughters, Mrs. Luther Little and Mrs. Fred Joyner, both of Cabarrus.
