CONCORD, March 7. — Mrs. Bessie L. Furr, 44, wife of Lon L. Furr, of Stanfield, died yesterday afternoon at the Cabarrus county hospital. Funeral service was held this afternoon at 3 o'clock at Love's Chapel Methodist church in Stanfield, Surviving are her husband, eight children and her mother.News and Record, Greensboro, North Carolina, March 8, 1939
