Death
CAMERON — Funeral services for Mrs. Carrie Jane Furr Medlin, 68, of Cameron, Rt. 1, who died Sunday, will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Vass Methodist Church. The Rev. David Moe will officiate. Burial will be in the Johnson Grove Cemetery. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Raymond Burnette and Mrs. Mary Jane Powers, both of Rt. 1, Cameron; eight grandchildren; three sisters, Miss Rosa Furr and Mrs. Lottie Stewart, both of Rt. 1, Cameron and Mrs. Bertha Priest of Rt. 1, Vass; four brothers, Henry Furr of Rt. 1, Cameron, Joe Furr of Vass, Jim and Angus Furr, both of Asheboro.The News and Observer, Raleigh, North Carolina, October 1, 1963
