Death
Mrs. Alice Furr, 67, died at 12:40 o’clock today at the home of her son, Joe Furr, 422 Wilson street. She had been in declining health for some time. Surviving are four sons: Joe Furr, Bob Furr, Pelzer Furr and Jesse Furr, all of this city. Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence, with Rev. L. F. Westbury officiating, in the absence of Rev. J. L. Jett, pastor of West Main Street Methodist church, of which she was a member. Interment will be in Laurelwood cemetery.The Herald, Rock Hill, South Carolina, March 12, 1931
