Death
Nina Edith Will, 89, of San Luis Obispo died Friday, July 17, 1987, in a San Luis’ Obispo hospital. Upon her request no services will be conducted and cremation has taken place. Inurnment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Oakland. Mrs. Will was born Feb. 21, 1898, in Heavener, Okla., where she was raised and educated. She moved to California in 1924. She moved Scotts Valley from Castro Valley in 1976, and moved to San Luis Obispo in 1986. She is preceded in death by her first husband, George Elmer Furr in 1944 and her second husband, Oscar Will in 1962. Two children also preceded her in death: son George Furr Jr. in 1969 and daughter, Edith Elizabeth Ragsdale in 1986. She is survived by two sons, Marlon Furr of Jonesboro, Ark., and Cecil Furr of Byron; one daughter, Deanna Pittman of Madera; one sister, Mildred Howard of Colton; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Los Osos Valley Mortuary handled the funeral arrangements.The Tribune, San Luis Obispo, California, July 22, 1987
