Danny Lovett (grandson of Ida M. Furr) wrote: I did not have much knowledge of the Furr line as Ida died before I was born. I only knew she met John W. Lovett (Grandpa Will) as they were in a wagon passing through the Horseshoe ranch between Roff and Sulphur Oklahoma. Grandpa Lovett helped bury her father when he died. He begin to court her and they married.

Death
Mrs. Ida Mae Lovett, 60-years old county resident for the past 40 years, died unexpectedly at her home Monday afternoon, following an illness of only a few hours. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at Bullard Chapel, in charge of A. D. West, of Ada. Interment, under the direction of the Chapman funeral home, is to be in the Condon Grove cemetery, but will be delayed, pending the arrival of J. W. Lovett, Jr., who is in the navy, stationed at San Diego. Surviving are her husband, J. W. Lovett and the following children: Mrs. Ola Vandiver, Tishomingo; George Lovett, Long Beach, California; Mrs. Birdie Rainbolt, Ardmore; Mrs. Mae Corley, Oklahoma City; Preston Lovett, Tishomingo; Mrs. Jewel Martin, Oklahoma City; Ray Lovett, Doyle Lovett, Oklahoma City, and J. W., Jr., San Diego. She is also survived by one brother, Marshall Furr, of Elmore City.Johnston County Capital-Democrat, Tishomingo, Oklahoma, November 24, 1943
