Death
Charles Homer Furr, Jr. went to be with the Lord on Sunday January 3, 2021, at the age of 85. Charles was born October 12, 1935 to Charles Homer Furr, Sr. and Ethel Ester (Glover) Furr in Stamford, TX. He married the love of his life, Patricia Ann Rice, in Stamford, Tx on July 29, 1955. They made their home in Stamford and raised three children together. Charles was an exceptional gardener. He loved the outdoors, telling stories and being with his family. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Ethel Furr and brother, James Alton Furr. He is survived by his wife Patricia Furr of Stamford, TX; his children, Sharon (Furr) Wilson of Stamford, TX, Marc Furr of Stamford, TX and Chuck Furr (Heather) of Azle, TX; grandchildren, Shalon Gilbreath, Haylee Furr, Michaela Wilson, Lauren Furr, Cullen Furr and Angel Olson; great granddaughter Oaklynn Kossey; sister Wanda Faye Bailiff of Wichita Falls, TX. Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church in Stamford, TX on Wednesday January 6, 2021 at 1:00 PM followed by funeral service at 2:00 PM.Endnotes
