Death

Olin F. Furr Sr., 84, widower of Helen O. Furr, died Friday, Sept. 3, 1999, at Laurens County Hospital. He was a son of the late James Lank and Mattie Iona Furr. He was superintendent with Jefferson-Pilot Life Insurance Co. Member: First Baptist Church; Campbell Lodge No. 44 A.F.M.; and the Hejaz Shrine Temple. Survivors: sons, O. Fayrell Furr Jr. of Myrtle Beach and Robert C. Furr of Boca Raton, Fla.; a daughter, Ada Ann Freeman of Clinton; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. today at Gray Funeral Home. Service: 3 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church. Burial: Rosemont Cemetery. Memorials: First Baptist Church, S. Broad St., Clinton, SC 29325.
