Lamar D. Furr, 89, of Camden, AR, died June 13, 2012. He was born in Locust Bayou, AR, January 10, 1923. He was the youngest son of the late Daniel R. Furr and Mattie Hollis Furr. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 8 sisters. He is survived by nephews, Jim and Clark Mckay, Locust Bayou, AR, Rodney Strickland, Hampton, AR., nieces, Betty Stewart of Baker, LA, Jacqueline Zugates, Fountain Valley, CA, Sandra Devini, Yuba City, CA, Era Looney, Mena, AR, Janice Lum and Judy Miller, Locust Bayou, AR, Steven Don Roslund of Loveland, CO, and Gayle Marie Roslund of Fort Collins, CO. He is also survived by great and great-great nieces and nephews and cousins. Lamar completed a career of 35 years with International Paper Company. Visitation will be 2-8 PM Thursday, June 14, 2012 at the funeral home. Funeral services will at Proctor Funeral Home on Friday, June 15 at 3 PM. Burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery.Military
