Death
LAUREL -— Services were to be held at 3 p.m. today at West Laurel Baptist Church for Mrs. Floye Furr Coston, 76, of 335 North 17th Ave., who died Friday at Jones County Community Hospital. The Rev. Wayne Dubois and the Rev. D.J. Benton were to officiate with interment in Hickory Grove Cemetery. Thompson Funeral Home was in charge. Mrs. Coston had been a resident of Laurel since 1944 and was a Sunday School teacher and choir member at the West Laurel Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Conway (Peggy Jane) Jackson of Baton Rouge, La., and Mrs. James C. (Betty Lou) Stewart of Baker, La.; two brothers, Buell of Canden, Ark., and Laman Furr of Locust Bayou, Ark.; five sisters, Mrs. Pauline Norris of Marysville, Calif., Mrs. Alta McKay of Locust Bayou, Ark., Mrs. Sallie Lou Strickland of Hampton, Ark., Miss Lois Furr of Canden, Ark., and Mrs. Martha Roslund of Fort Collins, Colo.; four grandchildren and one great- grandchild.Hattiesburg American, Hattiesburg, Mississippi, January 7, 1978
