CHAMBERS, Mrs. Shirley Gaynelle age 47, passed away at the Harriman Hospital Wednesday 10:30 a.m. Survived by husband Stanley W. Chambers 2 daughters Patricia and Barbara Chambers, son Jimmy Chambers, Father and Step mother Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Furr Sr., Greensboro, N. C. 3 brothers G. C. Furr Jr. Montreal, Canada; James W. Furr, Akron, Ohio, Craig Furr, Fryon, N.C. Funeral services conducted af the Maxwell Funeral Parlor, Thursday Jan. 18 at 4 p.m. Rev. Branson C, Wiggins officiating, interment, Roane Memorial Gardens. The family well receive friends at the Maxwell Funeral Parlor Thursday Jan. 18 from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m.The Knoxville News-Sentinel, Knoxville, Tennessee, January 18, 1962
