Death
James Stanley "Jim" Chambers, 56, of Broken Arrow, Okla., formerly of Roane County, died Monday, April 1, 2013, at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Shirley Gaynell Furr Chambers; and his stepmother, Trudy Chambers. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Chambers, Broken Arrow; daughter, Brynn Chambers, Broken Arrow; and son, Allen Chambers, Broken Arrow. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 5, in Arrow Heights Baptist Church, Broken Arrow, with the Rev. Joe Cook and the Rev. Robert Shaw officiating. Burial will be at the National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Okla. Hayhurst Funeral Home, Broken Arrow, is in charge of arrangements.Published in Roane County News from April 4 to April 5, 2013
