Death
BROOKHAVEN, July 1 — Robert Dewitt Furr, Lincoln County farmer, was buried this afternoon at Little Bahala. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Lowery of Wesson. Mr. Furr was 48 years old at the time of his death. He had been a farmer all of his life and had established a reputation for sincerity and trustfulness during his lifetime. Because of his character and place in the community, he will be missed by all who knew him. Surviving him are his wife and three sons, Scott of New Orleans and Troy and Fred who lived near their father.Clarion-Ledger, Jackson, Mississippi, July 2, 1941
