Death
Services for Meryle Furr Terwilliger of Greenwood are 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 29, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl with burial in Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl. Visitation is today from 5-8 p.m. and Tuesday from noon until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Terwilliger, 77, died May 27, 2001, at St. Dominic's Hospital. She was a native of Wesson. She was a graduate of Wesson Public Schools and Draughn's Business College. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Morgan City/Itta Bena Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the Eastern Star. Preceding her in death were her brothers, Hugh Furr and Percy Furr; and her sister, Edith White. Survivors are her husband, Charles Terwilliger Sr. of Greenwood; her sons, Brian Terwilliger of Greenwood and Charles Terwilliger Jr. of Lexington, Ky.; her daughters, Ann Sisk of Layton, Utah, and Patricia Grant of Pearl; her brother, Hilton Furr of Wesson; her sisters, Maxine Furr Kelley of Hernando and Esther Furr Farmer of Wesson; and nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
