Death
Services for Charles David Terwilliger Sr., 82, of Greenwood, who died of renal failure Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2002, at Indywood Glen, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home. A native of Mankato, Minn., Mr. Terwilliger was a graduate of Mankato High School and attended Gustavus Adolphus College. He was director of transportation for Mississippi Industries for the Blind before moving to Greenwood following his retirement in 1988. He was a member of the Itta Bena/Morgan City Presbyterian Church. He was a Mason and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Meryle Furr Terwilliger. He is survived by two daughters, Ann Sisk of Layton, Utah, and Pat Grant of Pearl; two sons, Charles Terwilliger Jr. of Versailles, Ky., and Brian Terwilliger of Schlater; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. The Rev. James McElroy will officiate at the services. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Floral Hills Cemetery in Pearl. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Itta Bena/Morgan City Presbyterian Church.
