The name of the ship that brought the Neiderhiser family to America was SULLY. The "Passenger List" of that ship is dated but the writing is unclear. It could be either 22 Jul 1833 or 27 Jul 1833. Mary Frances NEIDERHISER Allen's genealogy cites the first date and Paul Neiderhiser cites the second.Birth
Passenger list of the ship SULLY indicates that he was 5 years old when the family arrived in New York on 27 Jul 1833.Census data from 1850, Donegal Twp, Westmoreland Co PA, indicates that he was born in Switzerland, as does Paul Neiderhiser's genealogy data.
Marriage
Included in a letter from Beulah NIEDERHISER Wall to Mary Frances NIEDERHISER Allen dated 4 Oct 1994: "Our great grandfather Jacob ... had a brother Rudolph, Jr. who had a son [named] Charles."Endnotes
