Immigration
Mary Frances Allen's "Neiderhiser genealogy" indicates an arrival date of 27 July 1833. The "Passenger List" of the ship Sully also indicates that date. However, it is difficult to read and could also be 22 July 1833. Paul Neiderhiser in his genealogical data indicates the latter date.Birth
The "Passenger List" of the ship SULLY indicates that he was 12 years old when his family arrived in New York on 27 Jul 1833.Residence
A letter to Mary Frances NIEDERHISER Allen from Beulah NIEDERHISER Wall, dated Oct. 4, 1994 includes the following:"I found [in the Niederhiser genealogy] that our great grandfather, Jacob, had a brother Christopher (Chris) who went to Iowa and later settled in Kansas."
