"I have a vivid mental picture of my grandmother [Ann Eliza Rosenberger] dressed in the typical plain black clothes of a Dunkard woman. There was one thing I could depend upon when I was around my grandmother, and particularly when I sat by her in church, and that was the constant feeding from a never ending supply of candy."
