They moved to Jefferson County, Alabama after selling their property on Hurricane Creek on 9 Nov 1817. Rebecca died at Shelby County, Alabama and her birth and death dates are found on her gravestone; born 23 Jan 1790 and died 12 Sep 1882. In the 1850 census at Jefferson County, Alabama Rebecca was listed as age 50 and born in Kentucky.
