Paul Ernest STETTLER

(13 Dec 1896 - 30 Jul 1972)

Notes from Beth Humiston's interview with her father, Herman Stettler: "Paul got teased a lot. He couldn't take jokers . . . he bit his thumb to appease his anger. He was crippled by polio at age three. He loved garden work and he helped a lot and he laughed a lot. He was always in on the stuff that was happening in the family. He played with a fork handle as a shot gun."
