Gets News of Sister's Death in Marinette
Announcement has been received in the city of the death of Mrs. Leon LeBlanc, sister of Joseph L. Bush of Escanaba.
Of the death, the Marinette Eagle Star says:
Mrs. Leon Le Blanc did Monday evening at her home, 1543 Carney avenue, acute liver trouble being the cause of her demise after many months of suffering. She underwent an operation for gallstones at the Menominee River hospital in September, her final illness a period dating from last March.
Her maiden name was Mary Bush and she had resided here for forty years, coming to Marinette when a child of 8 years of age. She was a member of the Guard of Honor of Saint Joseph's church and of the Modern Brotherhood of America.
She is survived by her husband and four children, the Misses Delia and Dollie, Edward and Anthony; two sisters, Mrs. J. A. Le Blanc and Mrs. Ernest La Combe, reside in Cobalt, Ont., a brother, Joseph L. Bush resides in Escanaba and another brother, George W. Bush is a resident of Bonners Ferry, Idaho. The funeral will be held Thursday morning. The decedent was an estimable woman, whose numerous friends sympathized deeply with her in her long illness and (illegible) her passing.
