Antoine Francis GRANT
(11 Sep 1869 - 27 May 1917)
Antoine drove the mail stage from Leland and Provemont (now Lake Leelanau) to Sutton's Bay in the early 1900's and lived at one time in both Leland and Provemont. Since Antoine's wife, Georgiana died soon after their youngest son was born, the children were scattered and eventually either raised by relatives or adopted.
