Thomas Peter GRANT
(15 Apr 1912 - 14 May 1956)
Thomas was the youngest of seven children born to Antoine Francis and Georgiana Hersey Bosse Grant. His mother died when Thomas was only a few months old and five years of age when his father passed. He was raised in the household of his uncle, Joseph Bosse.
On 19 Sep 1932, Thomas married Florence Henrietta Smith in Traverse City, Michigan. Together they had two children, Thomas and Maxine, before his untimely death in Neubrucke, Germany at the US Army hospital. He had been a civilian employee of the US Army at the Verdun Signal Depot in Verdun, France.
