VALLEY PARK, MO - Louise Elizabeth Wolosick, 81, of Valley Park, Mo., formerly of Springfield, Ill., passed away at 12:45 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 10, 2016, at Garden View Care.
Louise was born Jan. 8, 1935, in Daggett, Mich., the daughter of Napoleon and Agnes Perrin Raboin. She married John B. Wolosick on May 14, 1955, in Springfield.
Louise was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a longtime St. Aloysius parishioner, and was known for being sweet and caring.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cindy Wolosick, her parents and ten siblings.
She is survived by her husband, John B. Wolosick; two sons, Michael D. (wife, Amy) Wolosick of Ballwin, Mo., and John R. (wife, Maureen) Wolosick of Canton, Ga.; six grandchildren: Katie (husband, Matt) Eakle, Anna (husband, Josh) Erwin, Ben (wife, Laura), Caroline, Jake, and Jonathan Wolosick; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016, at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. The visitation will begin with a prayer service.
Funeral Mass: 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 15, 2016, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 2000 Sangamon Ave., Springfield, with the Rev. Msgr. John R. Ossola, celebrant.
Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
