Cindy WOLOSICK

A funeral Mass for Cindy L. Wolosick, 46, of Palatine, formerly of Springfield, Ill., will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Aug. 19 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 2125 N. 21st St., Springfield, with the Rev. Mark A. Schulte celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m., with a prayer service at 4 p.m. today (Aug. 18) at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. Sixth St., Springfield.
Born May 1, 1959, in Springfield, the daughter of John B. and Louise E. Raboin Wolosick, she died Aug. 12 at her home. Ms. Wolosick attended St. Aloysius Elementary School and graduated from Lanphier High School and Illinois State University, earning a bachelor's and master's degree in speech pathology.
She was employed by School District 15 for 21 years as a speech and language pathologist at Lake Louise School in Palatine. She also had a side business in real estate and an interior design business based in Bloomington, Ill., allowing her to travel and decorate homes all over the country.
She enjoyed helping people, especially children and kept in touch with many of the students she had taught over the years.
She is survived by her parents, John B. and Louise E. Wolosick of Springfield; brothers, Michael D. (Amy) Wolosick of St. Louis and John R. (Maureen) Wolosick of Marietta, Ga.; several aunts and uncles; nieces, Katie, Anna and Caroline Wolosick; nephews, Ben and Jake Wolosick; and special friend, Derek Menard.
