From the Waterloo Daily Courier, Monday, June 11, 1945: Manchester---Funeral services were here Sunday for Anna Ingles Brown, 76, widow of the late Frank Brown, who died Friday night at the Clarence Fogel home here, where she made her home; had been ill three years; nee Anna Ingles, daughter of the late Samuel and Mary Bolsinger Ingles, was born Aug. 25, 1868, at Manual, Ia.; was married at Dubuque to Frank Brown; most of her married live was spent in North Buena Vista, and she later moved to Delhi, coming to Manchester about seven months ago; leaves five children; Mrs. Elsie Fray, Dubuque; Mrs. Ruby Tinkey, Delhi; Mrs. Alice Bolsinger, Lansing; Mrs. John Hosier, Oregon, Ill., and Mrs. Firman Wagonbort, Rockford, Ill.; 23 grandchildren; one brother George Ingles, Lansing, and one sister, Mrs. Ella Bolsinger, Lansing; two sisters and one brother preceded Mrs. Brown in death.
