Lincoln C. E. Stockton

Lincoln C. E. Stockton was born in 1866 in Missouri and died 9 February 1920 in Denver, Denver Co., Colorado. He was the first child of John K. and Abzira "Alice" (Crawford) Stockton. He was a lawyer, entrepeneur and inventor. On 16 Oct 1887 he married Jessie D. Anderson in Hancock County, Illinois. Jessie was born in 1867 in Minnesota. She was a school teacher and stayed in Illinois until the school year finished in the Spring of 1888 and then joined her husband in Trenton, Hitchcock Co., Nebraska where he had his law practice set up. Lincoln and Jessie had two children. Roscoe Kenneth Stockton was born 25 May 1889 in Brady Island, Nebraska and Hugo M. Stockton was born 27 April 1895. The family moved to Denver, Colorado in the early 1900's. Lillian Stockton married Dr. Edgar I. Raymond and they also lived in Colorado and had three daughters, Fern Raymond born about 1902, Gladys Raymond born about 1906 and Harriet Raymond born about 1909.
