Mrs. A. E. Anderson Passes Away After Very Long Illness. Mrs. A. E. Anderson passed away at the Platte Valley Care Home in Lexington Monday evening at the age of 90 years. She had been in poor health for about seven years. Born in Fairfield, Iowa, October 2, 1864, she came to Gothenburg in the early 1880's with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dewitt Ristine. She is survived by two sons: A. Lloyd of Gothenburg, and Dr. Arthur W. Anderson of Lexington; one daughter, Mrs Ray [Roy] Brand of Champaign, Ills.; 5 grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 10:30 at the First Methodist church, conducted by Rev. Delbert Sampson. Interment will be in the Grandview cemetery.
