Esther Mabel Anderson

Esther Mabel Anderson was born October 3, 1894, and died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Anderson, northeast of the city, on Tuesday, Sept 17, 1912, aged 17 years, 11 months and 14 days. She was a young lady of many lovable qualities and earnest Christian worker in the M. E. church, with which she united when nine years of age. She was a member of the Sunday school and Epworth League. She was graduated with the class of 1912 from the Gothenburg high school and had entered up her duties as teacher of the North Willow school, when she was taken ill. Besides her parents she leaves two brothers, Lloyd and Arthur, and one sister Irma. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the home, conducted by Rev. C. C. Wilson, and were very largely attended. Pallbearers were: Leslie Rich Kim Sigler, Byan Rich, Irl Stebbins, Royal Anderson and Bernard Norsworthy. Interment was made in the Grandview cemetery.
